Aviation Summer Camp!

What could be better than summer camp?  

A Summer Camp where you get to fly an Airplane!

Future aviators will be on Cloud 9 over this summer camp!  The camp will run Monday-Friday with the young aviators learning basic airmanship, flight deck layouts, the physics and characteristics of flight, cross-country flight planning, and traffic patterns in the morning and bringing these lessons to life in the afternoon, as they fly the plane with an instructor.  Each camper will get the opportunity to fly, in the front seat, and observe their plane-mates from the backseat, helping to solidify the lessons.

We will also be taking the opportunity to tour an aircraft maintenance facility and see some of the inner workings of different types of aircraft.  We plan on having a commercial airline pilot there to answer their questions and talk a bit about the life of a pilot and anything else they might want to know.  We would also like to invite the families of our campers for a Fly-in Movie on Friday evening, in the big WWII era hangar.
